It really helps if you have a think about your budget and we can then tell you what we can or can't do.
The cost of a website varies depending on the size, features and complexity of the site. A bit like a car varies in price depending on whether you want leather seats, air-conditioning or a built in sat nav, the price of a website also varies.
We will always be looking to help you get a return on your investment, for example by looking to help increase your leads.
Most small business websites take on average between 6 and 8 weeks. Large and complex sites will take longer.

SSL (secure sockets layer) encrypts information sent between your website and a visitors web browser so that it cannot be read as it is sent across the internet.
Traditionally it has been used on websites that request sensitive information such as e-commerce websites to encrypt credit card details and customer information.
If you have purchased online you may have noticed the green padlock that displays on web browsers. The padlock shows that the site is secure and the address bar will change from showing http to https. This is an example of a website using an SSL certificate.
Recently Google has updated it's popular Chrome web browser to highlight websites that aren't secure and it's longer term plan is to label all web pages as non-secure that don't have an SSL certificate installed.
Google's search engines algorithm also favours websites that are served over https, giving those sites a small boost in the rankings. In the future Google have said they may strengthen this factor so your site would receive a bigger boost (or not be penalised for been insecure).
The main benefits of an SSL certificate on your website
- Encrypting data and information
- Building trust with your visitors showing you take security seriously
- Possibly a higher ranking in Google's search engine.
Do I need an SSL certificate?
You need an SSL certificate if:
- your website is an e-commerce shop
- you take payment on your website
- your site handles sensitive information such as credit cards, addresses or other personal data.
- your users need to log-in to your site
If your site falls into any of the categories above then SSL is not an option it is a must!
If your site doesn't fall into one of the above categories then moving to https still offers the benefits outlined above, mainly customer trust and not been penalised in the search engine results by Google.
So if your site is not https at the moment, then soon it will need to be as it becomes standard on all sites.
No, if you need a new logo then you need the services of a graphic designer not a web designer.
We have local partners that we can recommend that will design your logo and develop a consistent brand identity for your company.
Your logo and branding will greatly influence the look of your website, therefore it's important that you have a professional, well designed logo which will help give your company immediate recognition.
