Live For Today

Live For Today are an outdoor activity company, their exciting activities ranging from quad biking, paintballing, archery and even axe throwing to adventures that include rock climbing, caving and gorge walking.
This is the second website we have delivered for Live For Today and it has been an exciting journey to watch them grow in that time from having one venue in Harrogate to now having three venues located in Yorkshire and Cumbria.
Live For Today's new website was needed due to the growth of the company, with the success of the first website having contributed in helping them achieve this.
Live For Today had quickly grown from 1 venue to 3 venues with each venue offering some activities that were the same and some that were unique to that particular venue.
We needed a way for visitors to easily find the activities that are offered at that venue and be able to book them online.
We had to understand how their customers would make a decision. Would they search for a venue in a particular location and then see what activities they could do or would they want to search for the activity first and then see which venues offered that activity?
In the end we came up with a solution which covered both scenarios.
We designed a page that displayed all the activities on one page so people searching by activity could see what was on offer. The visitor can then click on an activity and find out more information including which venues offered it.
Visitors wanting to choose their location first could do so by visiting the same activities page and then selecting their preferred venue from a drop-down menu. The page refreshes showing only the activities related to that venue. The customer can then choose their activities and book online.
The online booking system we added allows the customer to make a booking anytime day or night. This also benefits Live For Today by reducing the number of telephone bookings and allowing them to take payment on bookings outside office hours.
Together we identified their target market which includes stag & hen parties, children's parties, corporate team building days and schools and we set about creating pages with information specific for each audience.
Finally we added a page builder along with templates so that the staff can easily add new content in-house.
The new website has made it easy for visitors to navigate their way round the site, choose their venue and activities and then book and pay online.
Our combined marketing efforts which include the use of social media, email marketing and search engine optimisation have seen the website visitor numbers continue to grow and the number of bookings increase.
Working together on this project, it has given us great satisfaction to see Live For Today become one of the fastest growing outdoor activity companies in the UK.
